Boys Varsity Swimming, Girls Varsity Swimming · KMHS Swim and Dive Makes a Splash at County Championships

Congratulations to the Mustang Swim and Dive team for their AMAZING performances recently at the County Championships.

The girls placed 4th, the boys placed 2nd, and the TEAM placed 3rd (out of 19 schools)

Kennesaw Mountain won the overall team medal count with 15(meaning we had the highest number of 1st thru 3rd finishers).  The first time ever we have won the most medals at a county championship.

The girls won the medal count with 8; with 5 being gold(three more than the closest team).  The boys tied for 2nd in the medal count with 7.

Karsten Dixon set a new county meet diving record with a score of 532.85 points.  Both Karsten, Braden Hester(placing 2nd), and Kyler Dixon(placed 3rd); all had diving scores that will earn them High School All-American consideration.
