Girls Junior Varsity Lacrosse, Girls Varsity Lacrosse · Tobias Named Head Coach!

Kennesaw Mountain High School is pleased to announce our new head women’s lacrosse coach, Megan Tobias! Coach Tobias is no stranger to the Mountain, as she served as an assistant coach for the Lady Mustangs during the 2018 and 2019 seasons under previous head coach, Kristina Mater.

Coach Tobias is originally from Abingdon, Maryland, and made her way south to play for Kennesaw State, where she was a four-year starter as a defender and three-time team captain for the Division I Owls. While at KSU, Coach Tobias served as the Chair of the Atlantic Sun Conference Student Athlete Advisory Board (SAAB) and was the President of the KSU SAAB.

In addition to her extensive playing experience, she has seven years of coaching experience, not only at Kennesaw Mountain, but also for the Midwestern Force and Atlanta Storm clubs, and other high schools in Cobb County.

Coach Tobias will be entering her second year as a teacher, working in the Special Education department at KMHS. She is excited to be back at KMHS and looking forward to carrying on a great lacrosse culture!
