Haley Glass didn’t allow a single run as KMHS Varsity defeated North Paulding 4-0 on Thursday to secure Head Coach Lisa Chapman’s 400th win! Glass allowed just three hits and induced a fly out from Jill Dixon to end the game.
KMHS Varsity grabbed an early lead. KMHS Varsity scored on a single in the first inning and a fielder’s choice by Mallory Parker in the second inning.
KMHS Varsity took an early lead in the first inning. With one out in the first inning Hannah Forehand drove in one run when she singled.
One bright spot for North Paulding was a single by Hannah McGill in the first inning.
Haley Glass earned the win for KMHS Varsity. She pitched seven innings, surrendering zero runs, three hits, striking out three, and walking one. Jill Dixon took the loss for North Paulding. She went six innings, surrendering four runs, eight hits, striking out seven, and walking zero.
KMHS Varsity had eight hits in the game. Boo Hudleston, Michy Ramos, and Glass each collected multiple hits for KMHS Varsity. Parker, Glass, and Forehand each drove in one run to lead KMHS Varsity.
